To read the controversial articles please click it :) Malu Fernandez, how should I put this.. hmm, you are one BRAVE fat bitch! I'll be the first to admit, I'll probably vomit if im stuck with smelly people and it has already happened a couple of times. but do you really have to rant it out for the world to read? yes, you are blunt and honest but cant you be more sensitive? I mean yeah, ofcourse aaminin ko nandidiri ako but i wouldnt let them know it, or write about it in your case. for someone who talks so "worldly", its as if you didn't even go to a decent high school. or a well-to-do family for that matter, I'm sure youre rich, but that's all you have. :) I know, you clearly pointed out you're not "masa" by any chance. (jo malone anyone?) but bitch please, lest face facts here. YOU'RE FAT and UGLY too. I mean no matter how many money and discounts you get ,nothing can change the fact the MONEY cant buy you beauty and thinness. If you are really so brutally honest and direct, you should have a face to back it up! so BRAVE. I mean, i know I'm not "millionaire" rich but at least im sensitive to whats happening to our country. you on the other hand chose to feed your insecurities on how "icky" you felt flying economy. I mean come on, the seats were so small it bruised your legs: HONEY, THATS BECAUSE YOURE FUCKING FAT! yeesh. dont blame it on the cheap seats. and one more thing: dont give me that "i-bought-my-hat-in-greece" piece of shit please, we all know fat and fugly people have no say when it comes to fashion! good clothes will never fit you! you may be spraying jo malone but please, dont EVER brag about fashion,FAT clothes are not included in fashion ok? :) lastly: dont hurt our OFW's theyre practically the modern day heroes. Use youre intelligence into something more productive. let me remind you "BEING REAL DOESNT MEAN YOU HAVE TO BE A BITCH!" | Sino sya? I don't know her. |
 | shes a matapobre writer for people asia. |
 | or manila standard. im not sure. |
Gumanda ba sya? hahaha. Pathetic pala itong babaeng ito. Nagpapacontroversial. |
 | scandiliath wrote on Aug 18, '07, edited on Aug 18, '07 i like her honesty but up to a point lang. i mean, theres nothing wrong kung talagang nasusuka ka sa amoy i mean kahit ako i would probably feel the same way pero to degrade them in such a way that the whole country would know i think thats just crossing the line. |
 | CHINO! Ü naligaw ka ata sa site ko.Ü thanks for dropping by. |
 | ang sakit...nakita ko ang word na FAT hahahaha

 | hi. my friend sent me the link to m.fernandez' article and his comment on it. i read through the thing, and surprisingly, i got the end without retching. she's the fat female version of bryanboy.
the thing is, though, i can't help but wonder if i have the right to even react. coz i must admit that i too am fat and ugly, highly opinionated, and i've been known to be bitchy. while i try to keep my opinions within politically correct zones, i don't know whether i'll be capable of being as stuck up as she.
i can't help feeling a bit of duality regarding this. i am a writer too, and i have my bitchy moments. i do not like what she did, and i would like to stuff her 17kgs of accessories up her ass or down her throat, but i wonder if the finger i will point at her would only reflect the rest of the clumped up hand back at me.
fat. ugly. opinionated. offensive. i do not like her style, the least i want to do is defend her, but our shared commonalities make me wonder if i should even react at all. maybe she should just take a psychotropic to alter her personality, you know? or have her hooked on God para bumait. heheh.
good post, by the way, scandiliath. :) |

good post, by the way, scandiliath. :) thank you for the comment nenyalorien :)
you are not fat and ugly! she is. and i direct the adjectives to her "ugali".
and yes, i am highly opinionated myself that is why as you can see i have no second thoughts of airing my rants against her.
but yea, i see myself in her also BUT she crossed the line big time. as TYRA BANKS once said "If youre a bitch, hide it!" no need to let the world know! :) |
 | thank you for the link :) |
 | nice comment dud...rili nice one... |
 | hehe! pero segue lang ha, i think tyra is a bit of a bitch herself. kasi mejo naging plastic na sya, tapos me pagka bitchy talaga. she just knows how to do PR kasi and then she's trying to affect an Oprah air. pero well, that's just me. i still lurve ANTM, in spite of her. and i did use to love her. :p anyhoo back to our favorite writer. ewan ko ba. di ba sya sinabak ng ateneo sa immersion?? kung pumasa man sya sa ateneo, ha. o baka masyado sya sosyal na sa abroad sya pinaaral? o baka kaya di din sya pumasa kaya skolar "lang" din sya ng Pamantasan tapos ikinakahiya nya pa? ewan ko ba eh makitid talaga utak letse. pero sa totoo lang, obscene din naman si bryanboy, kaso kinoconfine nya yung pagka bruha nya sa blog nya at di nya niyuyurak ang pagkatao ng pilipino sa isang kilalang magasin na nasilayan ng ating mga kababayan. kung bruha ka eh bruha ka talaga. kawawa naman ang masagasaan mo noh? siguro pakainin na lang natin ng manolo blahnik tsaka jimmy choos at painumin ng jo malone para pampatunaw. tingnan natin kung makakapag bitch pa yang bitch na yan.. bryanboy has his piece to say about her too: http://www.bryanboy.com/bryanboy_le_superstar_fab/2007/08/malu-fernandez-.htmlaccording to him: "P.S. I love her fierce attitude. We need clowns like her (and me) to make the world a better place." hehe. aren't we all bitches in our own cute ways? :p |
 | haha. i agree. assuming that she came from a decent school, she is sorta like kris(aquino) has the money, the elite social circle but is impoverish when it comes to breeding and proper decorum.
and yes, we are all bitches. others are just better off than the rest :) |
 | scandiliath wrote on Aug 23, '07, edited on Aug 23, '07 marcocw thankies so much! holy shit, she proposed to resign? im sure her publications will keep her.
after reading her "apology", i want to assure readers that from the very beginning i have NO personal grudge towards ms. fernandez, that is because i understand how it is to be opinionated and bitchy. she was just being real.
but to target the OFW's is something else. they are just hardworking individuals who DID NOT CHOOSE their lives. malu for me is FORGIVEN but not FORGOTTEN, in my book there is a difference. |
 | uy wag nyo naman idawit si kris. kahit taklesa yun, she did not denounce any sector of our people in public media. if rindi siya sa certain sectors ng bansa, she does not make a public spectacle of it at least. i honestly like her honesty, even if too bulgar na for most. but you have to admit, she has become a lady in the true sense of the word na especially with the hope centeno/james yap thingie hehe!
as regards the geocities "apology," i maintain a certain skepticism regarding that. because if you think about it kasi, that was way too impersonal and it was on geocities pa. who the hell uses geocities still?! hello?! it's web 3.0 already!
so until someone confirms that she has indeed resigned, then we have yet to know the real score. the apology was well-written though. but i wonder if it was canned. (intriga hehe!) |
 | abs-cbn just did a segment about her. i feel bad for her. now the whole world knows about her shit. pero yea, sabi sa news resigned na siya.
pero now i know why she apologized : death threats plus lawsuits( which will still continue kahit daw magresign siya according sa different groups na magfafile ng kaso) |
 | oh. wawa naman sya. yan kasi. okay stop na. she's taken a beating, but i thank her, you know? i found you. :) i like you. :) |
 | i love what you wrote! you're right on. this is my two cents...... Malu Fernandez reminds me so much of Ruffa Gutierrez and Gretchen Barretto (minus 600 pounds of course). Ms.Fernandez is almost as shallow as those 2 girls. To Gretchen and Ruffa, you’re a non-entity if you’re NOT wearing a gucci watch or NOT carrying a louis vitton bag. That’s the shallow world of those 2 social climbers. If Malu Fernandez was really rich, i suggest that she spends her money on Vicky Bello. Take out the excess 600 pounds of flab from her fat ugly body. In her article, she mentioned that she hates the beach because of the “sand and mosquitos”. I think the real reason is……if she had gone in the water in Greece, she would have caused another devastating Tsunami in that part of the world. If Malu Fernandez was REMOTELY ATTRACTIVE, i’d feel bad about her article. What gives me consolacion is that if she was the ONLY female left on this planet, i think i’d rather attempt to procreate with a dung beetle then a beached whale like Ms.Malu Fernandez. Look in the mirror Ms.Piggy. check this video from YOUTUBE out….. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmZQh1EB6tgIt’s about the article of Malu “Ms.Piggy” Fernandez. |
 | i can't believe i'm taking part of this virtual upheaval.
Anyway, I think Fernandez is a twit and insecure person. The article per se is a load of rubbish and was only glamorized by the 'brand names' which she think is top drawn and posh. Her article actually worked as she gained the attention of the reader. However on the intellectual side it lack substance and was poorly written. Judging on how she purports her encounters it simply proved that she has the demeaning Filipino culture, insensitive and brags things which she believes is immaculate. Believe me, you cannot do that here in England! Not even the multi-millionaires brag about their Bugatti's and Victorian antique collections. I just pity her coz the perfume and footwear she's wearing is just a common item here. You can even get that from a Car Boot. Anyway enough of her as she had apologized and quit her job because of this uproar.
On the darker side, I think OFW's should pay no heed to this kind of crap. Of course it is inherent that we were lambasted by our fellow countryman, but I don't think we need to feel oppressed and demoralized because of that article. As OFWs we have dealt and understand on how to live in a strange land with strange looking people despite the fact that it is us who look strange to them. This should immune us from all types of bullying and push overs.
This is just a snack compared to racism!
Anyway, I just hope that the end readers should also be educated and will not over react to this kind of bitchiness.
Try to be a part of the country where you're staying at and learn on how they deal with things. Maybe thats why they are developed and in the forefront on world domination.
Homer Simpson rules!!!!
|
 | @juicyyehlen : you crack me up! hahaha. what you wrote is way funny. :) and that video! i have no words.hahaha |
 | @homersimpson1 : guess you're right, HOMER SIMPSON RULES!!! and yes, jo malone isnt really lavish it just happens that it not available locally so she thnks its upscale.haha |
 | @nenyalorien: thanks! u too! |
 | thanks for the link. shes afraid for her life thats why she apologized |
 | Malu fernandez is butchered... and is being served medium rare in Jo Malone sauce..oh btw jo malone is paying her for product promotions... never heard in NY and never heard in UK... |
 | hehe. its sad that the jo malone brand got dragged into her mess. i believe its a french perfume and is almost at par with creed |
 | There really isn’t any need to insult Ms. Fernandez further; I think she’s quite miserable on her own. I’ve encountered her enough to know that she’s pretentious and obnoxious. I also know that although her family may have some affluence, I certainly would never include her among the truly high-end of Philippine society she aspires to associate herself with. Sure she may orbit the circle, but she lacks the financial gravitas to truly live the lifestyle at that level. But even that aside, her complete lack of finer sensibilities or circumspect in her utterances indicate a mistaken concept of how the higher strata generally operate. The upper-crust manner, in my humble opinion, is one where there is the absence of a need to prove it to anyone. The traditionally rich guard the private details of their lives, perhaps just sharing it with a few intimates. Bragging about the inconsequential accoutrements of “the fabulous life” as Ms. Fernandez does in article after article, smacks more of an arriviste rather than a person already “to the manor born.” The classic signs are all there - name-dropping, an obsession with expensive accessories (and the need to highlight the brand), the feeling of entitlement, the clear disdain and lack of empathy for those she feels are not of her strata. It must be very difficult for her to constantly try to keep up with a crowd she just can’t keep up with financially. If she could she would have easily bought a first-class ticket and we would have all been spared of her tirade.
Feeling alienated from a crowd she so desperately wants to be a part of must make her very frustrated. Many bloggers also made fun of her portliness. I would imagine that the insults concerning her weight we’re not the first time she had heard such comments. She was physically large when I met her, and she still is to this day. There must also be a great deal of frustration in not being able to lose the weight. Part of being “Fierce and Fabulous” is the glam-factor. Obesity isn’t generally considered glamorous. There is so much out of her control that I can only imagine her seething anger as she sat in economy with her fellow Filipinos from Dubai. Powerless to do anything to extricate her from that circumstance, she lashed out by berating them, by trying to convince people that although she sat in economy with them, she is not one of them. She is high class and they are not. That kind of venom, that kind of irrational anger is so deep-seated that it can only come from a life she felt she had no control of – much like her weight and her social status.
|
 | you know, grabe yung point mo on this. she does lack the gentility of the truly rich people.
and yes, i could imagine being so consumed with greed or lust for things you cannot have, for the status you can never reach. no matter how many years one studies, kung paano mag ala Eliza Doolittle ka, once a street rat, always a street rat. sana nagpakatotoo na lang siya.
honestly, i don't see the point in grasping at status or riches at all. at the end of the day, with the need to guard your Louis Vuittons and what not, ugly monograms, by the way, and also to keep up with your own status, is it a truly happy existence? |

kuuudos to that! although ive already decided not to berate her anymore i cant do anything but agree. WE ARE ALL TACTLESS IN OUR OWN PRIVATE CIRCLES. let this be a lesson to all bloggers. think TWICE before you say anything, or in this case, write. :)
thank you! i had fun reading your position. |

But to be pretentious is another thing. ako. i dont say i have something expensive unless I really have it, ( imagine broadcasting to everyone that you have a PS3, an XBOX 360 and a NINTENDO Wii only to find out they were all lies! kakahiya!) |
 | i think her mindset is BEAUTY = ACCESSORIES
hangang accessories nalang cya hehe
